Slide if you want Emmanuel Adebayor, says Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp today insisted he doesn't care how Emmanuel Adebayor celebrates a goal against Arsenal - as long as the Tottenham striker scores against his former club in Sunday's derby. Adebayor infuriated Arsenal fans in his first game against them following his £25million move to Manchester City in 2009 by running the length of the pitch after his goal, which put City 3-1 up, and sliding on his knees in front of the travelling support. The Togo international was fined £25,000 for his goal celebration but Redknapp is not concerned about a repeat of the controversy at White Hart Lane this weekend. The Spurs manager said: "I've never spoken to him about that [celebration]. I hope he does score a couple of goals, I hope he slides on his knees and celebrates. I don't care really, to be honest, as long as he scores.

Pictured: The teen mother shot as she held her baby

This is the teenage mother who was holding her 11-month-old son when she was shot in the face by a gunman in a west London street. Jessica Crichlow, 18, had baby Amaria in her arms when a youth wearing a hoodie fired a shotgun into a group of friends relaxing on the Mozart Estate in Queen's Park. Jessica was hit in the face, chest and neck, according to her mother. She underwent surgery today and was said to be in a stable condition. Two of her female friends were also injured but the shotgun pellets missed the baby "by inches", according to detectives. The attack is believed to have been a botched "hit" involving gangs from rival estates. Police say the girls were talking to a group of men in John Fearon Walk when four youths rode up on bicycles. One jumped off and approached the group before firing a single blast. The men saw him approach and scattered leaving the girls to take the force of the blast. Riadh Boujaama 46, who saw the shooting from his balcony, said the gunman fired at eight girls and about 15 young men. He said: "There was one shot, it came like fire, everyone ran, everyone scattered. The gunman got back on the bike and cycled off." Three girls were taken to hospital. Two were named locally as sisters Alex, 19, and Sammy, 17, who suffered minor injuries. Alex was later discharged. Jessica's mother, Isabel, said: "She was having a lovely day with her friends and she got shot. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time." Police are hunting four youths, three black and one white, wearing dark clothing and hoodies. Det Chief Insp Mick Foote, of Operation Trident, said: "We are appealing for witnesses, particularly a group of young men in the walkway. This was a random, reckless act and we are fortunate we are not dealing with a fatal shooting here." He said he believed the shooting may be gang related but the girls were not the intended target. It came amid fears of escalating violence between gangs from the Mozart, Ladbroke Grove and South Kilburn estates. Local MP Karen Buck, who visited the estate last night, said there had been four "postcode gang" incidents in the area within 24 hours. She said: "This is not a new problem. We need people at high levels to see it is time for an intervention to bring this to an end." Anyone with information should call 020 8733 4774 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
